This is a web log about motorcycle travel, preferably long distance, and it’s constantly under construction. I’m a student at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., and I work at a newspaper in northern Virginia.

The blog’s title is an homage to George Orwell’s book Burmese Days, his portrayal of British colonialism in India. I just liked the title.
